Salt potatoes in Pakistan

Even under the saline-sodic conditions of the salt affected soils in Pakistan we see good results with the salt tolerant potato. With great interest of several local farmers and media such as Al Jazeera the first potatoes were harvested last week. The results are looking very promising and next year the cultivation will be on a larger scale.
