Fertilization strategies for saline agriculture

In this project, under the highly controlled conditions of Salt Farm Texel, a fertilization strategy has been worked out for saline sandy soils. The project is supplemented by a first start of a fertilisation strategy on saline clayey soil. The aim here is to get an insight into the possible shift in nitrogen mineralisation under saline conditions, the ingestion of nutrients by saline crops using different treatments, and based on these findings the further improvement of the fertilizing strategy, to whom saline crops can be gained, receiving maximum yield.
